Ella Henderson Chapter One

It seems a long time since X Factor 2012 but the wait for songstress Ella Henderson is finally over, releasing her debut album on October 13th Chapter One has been a long journey for the Lincolnshire lass and already it looks destined for the top spot. Ghost was a number one smash hit and stayed in the top 5 for eight consecutive weeks and the second single to be released off the album is glow (5th October) which also looks to be a favourite.

After finishing sixth on 2012’s X Factor she was swiftly signed to the SYCO music label.

She has now flourished into an amazing artist and has waited patiently for this moment and I’m sure will be on many peoples Christmas list this year.

Chapter One starts off with one of the most undeniable songs of the year “Ghost” which was co written with the very talented Ryan Tedder.
“Ghost” is a real powerhouse of a song with an up-tempo feel.

“Empire” – is produced, by the exceptional TMS who delivered (‘Wings’ and ‘DNA’ for Little Mix, ‘My Best’ for Rebecca Ferguson, ‘Do You Think Of Me?’ for Misha B), “Empire” is a strong and empowering song containing glorious vocals and will most likely be a favourite live.i

“Glow” – If you though Ella Henderson was a one trick pony, you can forget it. “Glow” is another quality song that has a slight haunting feel to it (in a good way), it takes you on a journey of strength and vision.

“Yours” – A slower song with some gentle piano tones, Ella’s voice sounds flawless tell her story of love.

“Mirror Man” – This is a real punchy song with a catchy hook.

“Hard Work” – A softer song with lovely vocals, it is one of several songs that gets you thinking is this girl really only 18-years-old.
